To search for a particular document in the case browser:

Click on the search icon (or press Ctrl + S) at the top of the document list

 

A search dialogue box will appear:

Type in the relevant search terms and click the 'Search' button.

An new window will open with a document list of items containing the searched terms

Additional syntax that can be used in queries:

  • Words are implicitly AND-ed together.
  • A word can start with - to signify negation (the word must not be present).
  • A word can end with * or % to signify prefix search (the word must start with this prefix). 
  • You can use OR between words (it has a lower precedence than the implicit AND).
  • You can enclose several words in double quotes " for a phrase search (the words must exactly follow each other).
  • No labels
